  5. Review the artist proof. Check the likeness, artwork, and placement. Reply with approval or request an adjustment.
  6. Approve before production. Nothing moves to print or embroidery until you approve the final proof.

What should I check in the proof?

  • The ears, eyes, markings, and expression look recognizable
  • The portrait size and placement feel right on the product

How to choose a helpful photo

Use a sharp photo in good light with the full face, eyes, ears, and natural markings visible. Avoid blur, heavy filters, deep shadows, distant subjects, and crops that cut off part of the head.
